Classification of Exhibits- the following revisions have been made to the Classification of Exhibits: Open Philately Class has been introduced under the 1-Frame, 5-Frame, and 8-Frame exhibition categories (Class 3.2.11 and Class 2.2.14.K). The Youth Class has been renumbered from Class 3.2.11 to Class 3.2.12. The Novice Class has been renumbered from Class 3.2.12 to Class 3.2.13. 1. ORGANISATION
1.1. AMSIPEX-27, the 3rd International Virtual Aerophilatelic & Astrophilatelic Exhibition is being organised (hereafter referred to as “AMSIPEX-27”) to celebrate World Air Mail Day - 18 February.
1.2. This is organised by the Air Mail Society India Foundation (AMSI) and will take place from 14-21 February 2027.
1.3.  AMSIPEX-27 is held under the Patronage of Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Aéro- et Astrophilatéliques (FISA).
1.4. AMSIPEX-27 is being organised jointly with the American Air Mail Society, Auxiliary Markings Club, Cercle Aérophilatélique Français, Gesellschaft der Weltall Philatelisten, Royal Belgian Astrophilatelic Society COSMOS, and The Wreck & Crash Mail Society.

2. REGULATIONS
The exhibition is governed by:

3.2.15.1. Aero- and Astrophilatelic Monographs (published maximum 5 years prior to 2027)
3.2.15.2. Aero- and Astrophilatelic Periodicals (published maximum 2 years prior to 2027)
3.2.15.3. Aero- and Astrophilatelic Web Sites
Class 3.3. World Single-Frame Exhibits Team Championship
Three exhibitors from a single country/club/society to form a team and submit one single-frame exhibit each under Class 3.2.14. only. These exhibits will continue to be eligible for individual medals, while the team scores will be aggregated and the highest scoring team will be awarded in the name of their club/society/country.

4. CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
4.1. Participation is open to exhibitors who are the members of philatelic societies affiliated to the FIP Member Federations or FISA Member Federations.
4.2. For Exhibits in Classes 3.2.1, 3.2.2, 3.2.3, 3.2.4, 3.2.5, 3.2.6, 3.2.7, 3.2.8, 3.2.9, 3.2.10, 3.2.11, 3.2.12.2, 3.2.12.3, and 3.2.14, the minimum required qualification is 75 points or Vermeil medal at national or 70 points or Large Silver medal at an international within the last five years. [Applicants who do not meet this requirement may compete in Class 3.2.13. Novice (1,3 or 5 frames)]
4.3. For the Exhibits in Class 3.2.12.1, the minimum required qualification is 70 points or Large Silver medal at national exhibition or 65 points or Silver medal at an international within the last 5 years.
4.4. For Exhibits under 3.2.15, the minimum required qualification is 65 points or Silver medal at national exhibition or above. The books must have been published within the previous five years and all other entries in the literature class within the previous two years. First-time entry will be at the discretion of the organisers.
4.5. For Exhibits in Class 3.2.13, there is no pre-qualification requirement.
4.6. All qualifying awards must have been recognized by the National FIP/FEPA/FIAP/FIAF/FISA member or by FIP in case of international exhibitions.
4.7. Exhibits that have been awarded large gold medal or Grand Prix at a FIP/FEPA/FIAP/FIAF Patronage Exhibitions cannot be exhibited in any competitive class. These are welcome in the Non-Competitive Class 3.1 A-D.
4.8. The exhibitor declares on honour that they are the owner of all the philatelic articles displayed.
4.9. Exhibitors may display their exhibit under a pseudonym, provided their name and membership in any appropriate philatelic society is made known to the Organising Committee.
4.10. Entries in the Non-Competitive Classes shall be by special invitation at the discretion of the Organising Committee.
4.11. Experimental Class: Exhibitors wishing to enter a 2, 3 or 4 frame exhibit that falls outside the prescribed competitive classes, including a newly developed exhibit or a previously exhibited exhibit that has been revised, restructured or expanded in scope, may apply under this class by emailing [email protected] with details of the exhibit title, title page and description.
 
5. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
5.1. Application is through the online entry form on the website. On completion of the form, each exhibitor will receive an email with a unique exhibit reference code (e.g., EX001), which has to be used in the subject of all email correspondence. Exhibitors will also need to upload an introductory title page (mandatory). A synopsis of up to two A4 pages (single-sided) may also be uploaded (optional, but highly recommended).
5.2. The exhibitor may revise the title and introductory page after having the exhibit accepted, but the concept of the exhibit cannot be changed. A revised introductory title page and/or synopsis may be uploaded on the exhibition portal no later than 30 Nov 2026.
5.3. The entry form must be duly completed in any language covered in 5.7.
5.4. A separate entry form is required for each exhibit.
5.5. Completed entry forms must be uploaded online no later than 30 November 2026.
5.6. The Organising Committee reserves the right to refuse to accept any application in whole or in part without assigning any reason for rejection.
5.7. Multi-Language support (experimental). We allow exhibits to be submitted in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish, with a facility for the jury and visitors to view the exhibit in the language submitted and auto-translated into English as an option.
 
6. NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE
6.1. Notification of application acceptance or non-acceptance by the Organising Committee, together with the number of frames allocated to each accepted exhibit, will be sent to the exhibitors when frame allocations have been made. The Organising Committee will scrutinise applications on an ongoing basis and notify discrepancies to applicants at an early date. It is anticipated that all such notification will be made within 2 weeks of submission of entry form and payment of fees.
6.2. The decision of the Organising Committee on acceptance of exhibits is final.

7. FRAME ALLOCATION
7.1. In Classes 3.2.1 to 3.2.11 Exhibits are allocated:
a) 5 frames for the exhibits which have previously received less than 85 points at a recognized national or less than 80 points at a higher level (International or Regional) exhibition.
b) 8 frames for the exhibits which have previously received at least 85 points at a recognized national or 80 points at higher level (International or Regional) exhibitions.
7.2. In Class 3.2.14, one frame is allocated for Single Frame exhibits
7.3. In Classes 3.2.12 and 3.2.13, the Exhibits are allocated the 1-5 frames as per application as relevant and described in Clause 3 – Classification of Exhibits.
7.4. If an exhibit is eligible for 8 frames, but material is not available for showing 8 frames, the exhibit can continue to be shown in 5 frames and can be expanded to 6 or 7 frames at the request of the exhibitor if this is within three years of the first Gold for the exhibit.
 
8. ENTRY FEES
8.1 There is no entry fee for the Non-Competitive class 3.1 A-D.
8.2. The entry fee in the Competitive Classes is INR 2,000 per frame for multiple frame exhibits for Indian Exhibitors and US$20 per frame for International Exhibitors.  In addition, International exhibitors must add US$ 20 per exhibit for International Speed Post charges for their medals & certificates. For countries where International Speed Post is not available, we will ask for additional amount to cover FedEx /equivalent services costs.
8.3. The entry fee in the Competitive Classes is INR 3,000 per frame for single-frame exhibits (Class 3.2.14) for Indian Exhibitors and US$30 per frame for International Exhibitors.  In addition, International exhibitors must add US$ 20 per exhibit for International Speed Post charges for their medals & certificates. For countries where International Speed Post is not available, we will ask for additional amount to cover FedEx/equivalent services costs. 
8.4. The entry fee in the Literature Class is INR 3,000 per entry for Indian Exhibitors and US$30 per entry for International Exhibitors.  In addition, International exhibitors must add US$ 20 per exhibit for International Speed Post charges for their medals & certificates. For countries where International Speed Post is not available, we will ask for additional amount to cover FedEx /equivalent services costs. 
8.5. Youth Class Entries will be free for up to one exhibit in the Single Frame class and one multi-frame exhibit. Additional entries will be at Rs. 1,000 (US$10) per frame for multiple-frame exhibits and Rs. 2,000 ($20) per frame for single-frame exhibits. International exhibitors must add/pay US$ 20 per exhibit for International Speed Post charges for their medals & certificates. For countries where International Speed Post is not available, we will ask for additional amount to cover FedEx /equivalent services costs.
8.6. Members of the Air Mail Society India Foundation (AMSI) will enjoy a discount of Rs. 2,000 (US$20) per entry except for Single Frame, Literature Class, and Youth Class exhibit entries.
8.7. Entry fees are non-refundable
8.8. The entry fee is required to be paid along with the entry.
8.9. There is no additional entry fee for the Team Championship.
 
9. EXHIBIT PRESENTATION
9.1. Each online frame is of sixteen sheets of A4 size pages or US size (8½ x 11 inches) or the equivalent in double pages or combination of single & double pages. However, the height of each sheet must not exceed 29.7cm.
9.2. Stamps, and other philatelic items may not be used more than once in an exhibit.
9.3. Copied material (Photostats, scans or photographs) used in exhibits must be clearly labelled as such.
9.4. Stamps and other philatelic items must not be digitally altered, enhanced, manipulated, or modified in a manner that misrepresents the original material. Enlarged reproductions may be used for illustrative purposes, provided they are clearly identified and faithfully represent the original item. Any deceptive digital manipulation may result in disqualification.
9.5. All materials used in the exhibits must be the property of the exhibitors.

10. DELIVERY OF EXHIBITS
10.1. The exhibits must be uploaded in PDF format as a single file in case of single-frame exhibits as well as for multi-frame exhibits, after scanning of the original exhibit. This clearly means that a physical exhibit must first be prepared and then scanned. The physical exhibit must be retained by the exhibitor until 45 days after the closing of AMSIPEX-27 in case verification is required by the jury or the expert committee. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
10.2. The exhibit must be uploaded using the unique exhibit upload link to be provided to each exhibitor. This link will clearly display the exhibitor's name, the number of frames, and the exhibit title corresponding to that upload.
10.3. Exhibitors in Class 3.2.15 must send one physical/digital copy of each title or volume (which will not be returned), to the Organising Committee to reach no later than 31 December 2026.

11. JUDGING OF EXHIBITS AND AWARDS
11.1. Exhibits in the Competitive Classes will be judged and awarded prizes by the international jury.
11.2. The Jury may call on any person as a consultant for the Jury.
11.3. Should the Jurors require to have a physical view of any item as shown on a scanned page, then the Jury reserves the right to have the original item examined for authenticity. The Exhibitor should make the item available for viewing prior to the jury's pronouncement. An expert group will also be appointed to assist the jury in such matters.
11.4. The awards for entries falling under Classes 3.2.1 to 3.2.15 are as follows:
1) Large Gold medal – 90 marks and above
2) Gold medal  - 85-89 marks
3) Large Vermeil medal - 80-84 marks
4) Vermeil medal - 75-79 marks
5) Large Silver medal - 70-74 marks
6) Silver medal - 65-69 marks
7) Silver Bronze medal - 60-64 marks
8) Bronze medal - 55-59 marks
11.5. All entries will be awarded with appropriate certificates.
11.6. All exhibits, including One Frame Exhibits receiving between 55 and 100 marks will also be awarded a medal.
11.7. A Certificate of Participation will be given to exhibits attaining less than 55 marks.
11.8. The Organising Committee may place Special Prizes to be awarded at the discretion of the Jury Team.
11.9. The deliberations of the jury are confidential and its decisions, once announced, shall be final and irrevocable.
 
12. LIABILITY
12.1. The Organising Committee, the Jury, the volunteers, staff, and employees accept no liability for any loss or injury suffered by exhibitors or members of the public arising directly or indirectly from any cause whatsoever related to the exhibition.
12.2. The Organising Committee cannot prevent copying or downloading of exhibit images as the images of exhibits will be displayed on a public website.
12.3. The laws of India shall govern the interpretation of these regulations, and any legal cases arising shall be settled within the jurisdiction of the Courts of India in the city of Bengaluru.
 
13. AGREEMENT TO REGULATIONS
The submission of an application form by an exhibitor on the Entry Form shall be deemed as a sign of acceptance of these regulations defined in Article 2.   
14. AMENDMENT OF REGULATIONS
The Organising Committee reserves the right to amend these Regulations at any time, if necessary, without prior notification. The updated regulations will be available on www.amsipex.com.
